Fresh water type of Cephalopod

I found this while cleaning out my pool in Connecticut!
Does anyone have any ideas?

Upon further examination it appears I was duped! This little guy has CHINA written on the bottom of it!

For future reference, there are no known freshwater cephalopods.

that would have been incredible if you found the worlds only known freshwater ceph in your pool!
