I received this email this morning:

The following cephalopod book is available online:

Xavier, J. C. & Cherel, Y. (2009). Cephalopod beak guide for the Southern Ocean. British Antarctic Survey. 129 pp.

Due to the limited number of copies now available, we managed to make it accessible FOR FREE to be downloaded using the WWW:

http://www.antarctica.ac.uk/about_bas/publications/books.php

All the best

Jose Xavier & Yves Cherel

Enjoy, and thanks so much to Jose and Yves. :notworth:

Hajar & Kevin,
I assumed you looked around the site a bit and found that there are other papers there that might interest you fossils ... folk. I saw two on the Cretaceous period) by searching cephalopod and the one that I briefly looked at did have black and white photos of fossils showing different degrees of curving toward a spiral (sorry, that is a sophistigated as I get in your arena). Of course if Hajar found something of interest he will have to make/look up friends in Georgia (the Russian one) or the Falklands.
