holy cow! I had no idea we ate that much cuttlefish! I knew we ate a fair amount of octopus because I see it on menus, but I don't think I have ever seen Cuttlefish on a menu. can Calamari be cuttles?

I wouldn't think so. Squid should be way less expensive so I can't see them substituting cuttle for squid but I also wondered about who was importing the cuttle. I sort of remember seeing cuttle listed once in a frozen mix but I think that was in a Korean grocery that has a limited consumer market here.
