By 3-5 months you can tell males and females by behaviors when they interact with each other. The males will have a specific display when approaching another male. They will stretch out their body and display vivid colors to each other. The females will just watch and stay their resting colors.

Generally. It is possible for males to not react to another male and be thought of as a female or sneaker male.

I'll just name both of them Pat.

Both cuttle's were out last evening,and both eating well as far as i can tell.
My shore shrimp should be hear today or tomorrow,we'll see how that goes.

The cuttle's are starting to eat thawed krill.They are coming out every evening after the lights go out, they seem to be getting a feel for their new home.Every evening shortly after the lights out I spot them in the same place, I suppose they have found a cozy place to hide near by.Pictures coming soon(getting a new camera next week).

The last few nights I've been watching the little guys hunt.I think it's pretty cool how they look like they are just minding their business until the shrimp they were following turns it's back,then snap!they reach out and grab it.Very fun to watch.

Both cuttle's seem to be doing well.I found a great spot to catch shore shrimp, it takes me about 10 mins to catch 2 dozen.
They still don't come out during the day, but they do come out as soon as the lights go out(with the moon lights on),and dont mind me watching them hunt.Here is a picture of the small one(was dime size when I got him/her).

this is a pic of one of the cuttle's going for a shrimp that was on a feeding stick.I took all the shrimp out and put them in a holding bucket, so I can lure the cuttle's out for feeding.
