DIY 1700 gallon tank

Hey guys.

I was doing some searches on building tanks. and came across this page that shows how someone built a 1700 gallon tank.

Thought I'd share it.

It is a great build thread. Wish he would have researched the requirements for the sharks he planned to keep in it. Would have made for a much better reef tank.

The last note in the blog suggested a larger tank was planned for the black tip. Whether or not the plan was implemented was not noted.

There's an even bigger one on that forum as well. I man built a whole addition to his house for it. It's huge.
