Saw Deep Blue last night at UCSB. It was pretty disappointing. I figured that since it was from the makers of Blue Planet, it might be pretty good. What I guess I should have realized is this meant there was hardly any original footage. It was almost entirely scenes taken from the Blue Planet episodes. They even used the same soundtrack. The only real difference is that these scenes weren't complete, and Pierce Brosnan's nancy-boy voice kept cutting in and disturbing the peace. The mute button would have been pretty useful for this film.

The deep stuff was pretty cool, but I think it's all stuff we've already seen.

If it's not orginal footage, than what good is there to watch a imcomplete re-run?
