Hey,

I've read that there aren't any cuttlefish in the Americas, but I've had a few people tell me they have seen them diving in Florida. Does anyone know if there are any there or what they might have confused them with?

Thanks

Here is a thread that guesses several squid, trying to identify a "cuttlefish" caught near Myrtle Beach, SC. There are a couple of squid choices (none for cuttlefish) and the comments and linked pictures were helpful enough for the person inquiring to finally be convinced what they saw was a squid and not a cuttlefish.

Nice to see you back on the site!
