Once I was diving near the shores of Ibiza (Spain) at night, when I saw an enormous Sepia officinalis hunting over the sandfloor.. I aproached it carefully and it aproached me aswell. It swam at the height of my face, and it came an inch near my mask. I held it in my hands and looked into her eyes. I saw how the colour patterns on the mantle started changing, as if it tried to tell me something. Then it zoomed away. I was shoked, and since then I started researching for cephalopod comunication, zoology and intelligence.
