    The science. Good Nautilus overview as introduction, lots of math to finish. An iconic animal to say the least.

    The first (non-arithmetic) part of that paper gives a nice, easily understood set of definitions to the terms the fossil folks :grin: use to describe what they look for to determine if a fossil is a cephalopod. By now I think I have them down but it would have been nice to have read this layman's description early on.
