Caribbean octopus on ebay

He names it a Caribbean Reef Octopus and I believe he has it right. O. briareus' common name is Common Caribbean Reef Octopus or CCR but we often see the Caribbean left off, leaving off the word "Common" is not critical to the ID. We often see the Caribbean not used and that causes confusion with O. vulgaris whose common name is the Common Octopus (every where in the world but FL ). The purple on the suckers is odd and I think an artifact of the lighting. The mantle looks correct for this species.
