Sunday (July 2) Blue Plant is being shown on the Discovery Channel tonight, for those in the US. If you're home and have nothing important to do, this series is well worth watching. Not many cephs, but you learn a lot about life in the ocean.

A few nights ago there was a show on killer squid. (I dont now if that had any importance but Nice find Nancy!

yeah, i watched that Blue planet on the Humboldt Squid in the Sea of Cortez (baja,mexico)..pretty nice stuff. They didn't attack though, even when the guys were in the water during a brutal "fishing" session by the locals...no attacks on the guys, though they were acting a bit canibalistic :sagrin:

I just watched a chunk of one segment as my wife didn't care for the footage of the killer whales playing badminton with the sea lion pups :shock: .

I would have liked to see the Humboldt Squid!
