:welcome: are blue lights good for octos to live in?
if so how many watts?
wut is the best lighting, iv heard from other forums ,that less light is better, but as far as watts go, wut do u recommend?

That would really depend on the species of octopus you are keeping (or setting up a tank for, right?)...diurnal octos will do fine with daylight bulbs for 12-14 hours...nocturnal octos can be viewed with moon bulbs or red bulbs (it is easier to see them in red light for humans...rather than blue).
