What are the acceptable temperature parameters for bandensis? It looks like the standard 76 to 78 degrees F for tropical aquaria is the preferred. Correct? I keep a colder water FW tank in my home for axolotls and its 63 F, so curious. Thanks.

They are a warm water species so your temp range suggestion would be appropriate. Slightly lower may extend their lives a bit but I think (from observation but not known) the warmer temps are better for mating.
