Has anybody attempted preemptive medicating?
Or just medicating in general? What is safe and effective?

Not sure off-hand about cuttlefishes specifically (our Search function may yield something), but @robyn and team have a paper written about this for octopuses, and @Danna covered it in an article, here:

I know the title here is about sleep but I know Robyn has done work with pre-emptive treatments as well.
