AMMONIA

well, you could try buying ammonia removing blocks from a fish shop but the easiest quickest way is to do a water change, no more than 25% at a time though...

whats the problem?

thanks :biggrin2: i think ive got it fairly much under control now, i put some zeolite in which is supposed to absorb ammonia.
thankfully i dont have an octo in there yet but i think that it was just some of the algae off the rocks dieying off or sumthing
:heee:

THE TANK HAS BEEN SET UP FOR ABOUT 1-1/2 WEEKS, BUT IT HAS LIVE ROCK, LIVE SAND AND FRESH SEAWATER WITH LOTS OF MICRO AND MACRO ALGAE GROWING ON THE ROCKS.
:? :? DOES IT STILL HAVE TO CYCLE IF EVERYTHING IS LIVE??? :? :?
