Hi, My name is Chris Lee and I live in Tasmania a few hundred metres from where the Giant squid featured at the Tasmanian Museum was found..yes we are a hot spot for such things..
Went fishing last week and watched thousands upon thousands of Gould squid just swimming around..
I have just completed a giant(well two metres at least..!)squid,modelled in latex rubber. It also lights up with 6x 3volt high vis l.e.ds which give a great spooky look in the dark.It makes a wonderful lamp!!
I would post it, but havent figures a way yet. I will email any one interested...
