Neogonodactylus

Female Blue-ringed Octopus with eggs

This Hapalochlaena lunulata female was photographed shortly after see had laid her first garland of eggs. She will probably produce several more over the next few days. The eggs are carried in the arms and web and should hatch in about three weeks.
