I thought It would be fun to satrt and oil painting and post it's progress (you know, just in case there's nothing else on the internet to look at)! Besides, it makes me accountable to finish a project. ;-)

Anyway, Hyslop was so very kind enough to let me use one of his pictures as a base model. This canvass is 24X36. I'm thinking of coloring the octopus with purple and gold tones (love those colors together). Deep green background with some sun beams. I'll probably have alot of fun with the rock. Starfish here and there.
