Thanks for sharing the pictures, as sad as it is that the sire has to be protected from poachers.
I particularly noticed the caption on p.2 of the gallery "Kimberella quadrata and its trail of crawling under the layer of sand that buried the animal" -- is this the first direct evidence that some of the Vendian fauna could crawl, as opposed to being sessile?

Recently, new stone material showed that many Late Vendian creatures of the socalled Ediacaran biota were Metazoa of complex organization, actively mobile consumers of microbial films and detritus.
