      You can see elements of the bipedalness even when it is punting along the bottom. One apparent difference is that the wunderpus "leans" into the water as it pushes forward with the two legs. This seems to stabilize it. Aculeatus and marginatus walk more upright with the center of mass over their body. Neat stuff.

        Love it. I think we are going to have to accept the term "legs" in addition to arms for those appendages though It also adds to the community finding that the back arms seemed to be used more as legs (the intent of the mass public observations was to see if there appeared to be a right and left "handedness". No evidence was presented to suggest further study on this but it did suggest arms and legs).

            Yeah aculeatus did that too but only at slower speeds. The video was on the old Bipedal octopuses website- too bad IB pulled that page.
