He must have been hungry this morning because when I came out into the livingroom he was plastered to the front of tank. Took one look at me and darted for cover. But curiosity or hunger got the better of him because when I started tapping my fingers on the glass, he reemerged and came to the front of the tank to check out the camera.

There's quite a bit there in colour and texture shouting vulgaris! isn't there Carol? Does behaviour match up at all by now? Just curious...

Hmmmm....the texture and color changes are amazing but would a vulgaris baby be so skittish? The skittishness reminds me of a dwarf species. And do vulgaris have eyespots? I don't think Biddle does. Wouldn't that be something....a first for me....

Would a baby vulgaris be this skittish? He has the markings of the link including what I thought were 2 odd eyespots behind his eyes on his mantle like this pic......

Biddle likes scallops!!! I guess I will cross that bridge as it comes. Right now he's ok in the 27 gal, (This tank size is not recommended, especially if Biddle turns out to be what we think he may be) and I do have a local aquarium, which if he turns out to be vulgaris, between the one over the bridge and Camden, I am sure one of them would take him if need be. We shall see.....very exciting if this indeed is what he is. And I do have wind of a 150 gal someone at work may possably give me! :)
