I asked this question in the octopus care forum, but i wasn't sure that was the right place so i came here. is a cpr bacikpack a good protien skimmer for an octopus? i hope so because i payed good money for it!

I've always had good luck with backpacks for tanks in the 30-50 gallon range, though I like the sump fed style better just because of maintenance ease.
They are tough to octo-proof though !

ive figured out how to octoproof it with a combination of screens and super glue. is super glue bad for octos?

Superglue is safe, it was formulated for use in the human body. You might find it is too brittle for this application, though.
