Nancy Jan 7th, 2007, 12:21pm That's a nice looking octopus. Are you keeping him in an aquarium, or putting him back in the ocean? Does it have any eyespots or other markings? And what's it's size: length of body, length of arms. Nancy dittychacko Jan 9th, 2007, 06:33am hello nancy actually this photo is the only thing left with me. the octo died within a couple of days. there was no eyespots on the body. the mantle length was about 2 cm and the arm length would have been nearly 7 cm. monty Jan 9th, 2007, 04:32pm sorry to hear it :angelpus: norgebyblood Feb 13th, 2007, 03:47am that looks exactly like my first octopus, and that one died within a week of getting him as well.... hmmm dittychacko Feb 15th, 2007, 06:57am that looks exactly like my first octopus, and that one died within a week of getting him as well.... hmmm did you know its name??!!! norgebyblood Feb 15th, 2007, 08:17pm i wish i did, but no. i cant even figure out what my new octo is DHyslop Feb 16th, 2007, 08:11am Ditty-- Its often impossible to find the scientific name for your pet octopus. Many species are difficult to discern from photographs and its unlikely that your distributor knows where and how it was collected. |
