Well some of you may have read the other thread on my new guy. He was sold as a "Costarican Longarm Octo" and Ive searched a bit and cant pin an id on him. He was fairly active in the store and would grab my hand if it cam near him, he is a very proficient digger, and has a rather odd texture with an irridescent sheen to it under angled lighting. Im looking forward to him settleing in. Here are the shots I took of him.

I thought Briarius too. He looks like Egor who was this.

I also thought briareus when I heard the description. They often have the green irridesenceif i'm not mistaken. He does have long arms.
