View Full Version : Ceph Furniture...
Donnerboy Aug 30th, 2006, 02:51pm I maintain a thread here in Culture & Entertainment called "Ceph Items & Jewelry Collection"; however, it has grown quite diverse. I will continue to maintain it, though I wanted to branch off and start this one being solely furniture and furniture add-ons.
Bare with me as I start with items previously listed.
These three are all tables (none of which I own, out of my price range), but should still be appreciated by all ceph lovers. They are beautiful and tragic, and evocative of cephs and all ocean life all at once.
Donnerboy Aug 30th, 2006, 03:00pm I love knobs.
They can make any basic piece into a ceph lovers fantasy. (personally I have a real distates for cutesy ceph stuff like octos with big eyes and a wide grin, but like the more monstrous looks. These are no exception.
The first can be found at www.knobdeco.com. It's available in pewter or brass finish. I think the pewter speaks better for this one. This is more of a "pull", but knob versions are available.
The second is from an ebay source who's screenname was castofcharacters. Again technically this is a brass pull, but I love it.
Finally, the third. This is a simple brass octo knob I found on ebay from bigblue dive. However, I have since found a source online for this Roland St. John design (he does lots of sea life), and they are working me up prices to be able to buy these in sets as opposed to ebaying them one-at-a-time.
Donnerboy Aug 30th, 2006, 03:10pm I am simply adding the one picture for this.
This was called the "Aquapod" and was available from www.DesignToscano.com. However it has since been discontinued.
As I was telling lea869, I was once looking for another ceph piece that had been discontinued, emailed them, and they said they would be happy to make me one. That is called CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I think they may be willing to do so again. They are about $39.99 + shipping if my memory is correct, and Design Toscano would probably be more apt to making several than just one. If anyone is interested. Please post reply saying that you want one too. We will try to strike up a deal with them and maybe they'll bring it back for us.
Donnerboy Aug 30th, 2006, 03:21pm These three pieces all come from www.cozumelglassart.com.
I like the different styles, but have as yet decided which is my favorite.
Donnerboy Aug 30th, 2006, 03:24pm These are finials, or the little pice that screws the lamp shade down onto your lamp.
They are both from www.artifaqt.com so make sure to check them out.
Donnerboy Aug 30th, 2006, 03:29pm These are three odd little things.
The first and second are two pen holders for execs. They were discontinued, but can be order for about $75 each.
The third is a shy little card holder and one of my favorites, but I cannot remember where I found him and am trying to so I can order one. However, I think he is from Hochstetler Arts as that is what the well placed card says.
aximbigfan Aug 30th, 2006, 03:32pm i love the pen one. and the last table...
chris
Donnerboy Aug 30th, 2006, 04:28pm This post simply shows some of the ceph lights, lamps, and glasswork out there.
The first and second are from www.cozumelglassart.com. I prefer the amber loook of the second one, myself.
The third is an ikea lamp I got off ebay and can be fairly regularly seen on its lists. It generally goes for about $19-29.
Donnerboy Aug 31st, 2006, 04:11pm These are three little guys I found around the web.
The first is specifically a jewelry box that I found on ebay. He can typically still be found there, sometimes in red, sometimes in blue for about $36.00. I bought one for a girlfriend for Christmas and she almost passed out. Go to www.ebay.com and simply enter "octopus jewelry" and generally one of these will come up. It's very solid and well worth it.
The others I have seen about and sometimes on ebay as well. Just simple, little, ceramic octos.
Donnerboy Aug 31st, 2006, 04:16pm Ans some more...
The first one is a little, covered, silver bowl from http://www.argenteriadabbene.com/English/boxes2.html.
The second is a 20,000 Leagues ceph grappling with everyone's favorite sub. It opens up and is a box inside.
The third is a another jewery box. I do not like it as much as the one from the previous post due to the eyes, but I do like the rolling tentacles.
Donnerboy Sep 1st, 2006, 10:14am This is a beautifully monstrous piece that is so horrific, it must be wonderful.
It was orginally made for a sushi bar as the door handle, but it really lets one know what can be done. Below is the quote from teh previous thread...
"Stephen Fitzgerald called me yesterday and we had a long chat. What a great and down to earth guy.
He said that the octopus door handle piece had been sold ($1,200), but that he can always make more as he lives off his comission work. Each one will be slightly different and unique, but can adhere to that overall shape and pattern.
He sent me a larger pic that I was able to install as a thumbnail that you can click on for a larger view.
I simply love this piece. It is so monstrously ugly that it is wonderful and emotive, beautiful and tragic all at the same time. Apparently he made it for a sushi bar and I am starting to think it is a place I would like to go to."
A couple of people that are fabricators think they could do this same thing for a few hundred bucks.
GPO87 Sep 1st, 2006, 01:02pm this was probably asked on the other thread, but I will ask again. Do you know where I can find those tables? I really like the first one.
Donnerboy Sep 1st, 2006, 01:44pm Hey, this first one is located at www.forraimetaldesign.com.
The third is from www.barelafish.com/gallerysculpt/galsculpture.htm. They have a bunch of ceph designs and not just tables. All kinds of sculptures...
There is even this second one from www.kendalllecompte.com. It is not quite to my taste, but still fun.
Donnerboy Sep 1st, 2006, 01:54pm This is an octopus Door Knocker.
Not my favorite, like the door handle is, but it has some character.
Donnerboy Sep 1st, 2006, 01:56pm I saw these and was happy.
They are simply a towel holder, a soapdish, and a toilet paper holder.
erich orser Sep 1st, 2006, 08:54pm Your posting of these items is always a sheer delight, good sir! Personally, I love that door handle.
tonmo Sep 1st, 2006, 10:00pm Right. I just rated this a 5-star thread!
Donnerboy Sep 5th, 2006, 04:01pm I'm gushing,
Seriously though, I am truly glad people enjoy it. I was so badly burned by seeing 20,000 Leagues when I was seven that I have as yet to recover.
I love searching for these pieces and showing them to those (you) that can appreciate same.
If you want some real fun, read The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Vol's I, II & the Black Dossier arriving this month. Similar to my own thoughts, everything that Nemo has is strewn and decorated with cephs and tentacles as if he survived the attack on his ship, but was never the same.
Also, don't forget to check back on my Ceph Items & Jewelry thread at: http://www.tonmo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3977. I recently added a stainless steel can coozie decorated with an octopus that has been getting me a lot of compliments of late.
~Will
PS: Oh, and thanks Tony for the rating.
Fini Sep 5th, 2006, 07:42pm Very nice posts. If there was only more money out there, or some place I could whore myself out at.
Nice goodies!
Donnerboy Sep 6th, 2006, 12:07pm OK, normally I do not go for the cutesy stuff. However, if you have children or even nieces and nephews, there is no harm in pushing one's agenda.
That being said, I saw this stuff on ebay and at Target. It is a kid's bathroom set with a soap dish, a liquid soap dispenser, and a toothbrush holder.
They are about $8-11 a piece. So, something for the kids...
Donnerboy Sep 6th, 2006, 01:46pm This is an odd little piece from www.billyjoe.com. It is a metal bath plug not for the faint of heart.
Donnerboy Sep 6th, 2006, 02:02pm I know what you're thinking...What's a fictional mirror other than what Alice used?
Well as I have previously stated, there is some wonderful ceph inspired art and furniture in Nemo's sub in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. In the background one can see Nemo's ceph infatuation in a mirror in one of the stateroom's inhabited by a one Dr. Jeckyl.
It's wonderful and Victorian with long golden tentacles an shaped mantles along the rim.
I think I'll pull out my scroll saw this weekend...
Donnerboy Sep 7th, 2006, 10:25am I am almost loathe to put this up as to the mad dash this may create. Though I do love their logo of a tentacle holding a two-olive martini glass.
I found a site called www.kthulhukitsch.com. They have a few wacky things including prayer type candles to ward of destruction, some trinkets, and this little box.
Donnerboy Sep 7th, 2006, 10:32am Another little box to decorate one's desk or end table.
I found this at a site called www.eurekaifoundit.com. It is suppossedly handcarved and is a bit unique.
Donnerboy Sep 7th, 2006, 04:14pm Now here is something special.
It is from Sparks Steel Art Gallery; and it makes me want to design my own.
Donnerboy Sep 8th, 2006, 11:36am Wow,
I found these at www.gaylebright.com. They are pricey at $108 a tile (12" x 12"), but if you really, really want to decorate with that extra flair...
Donnerboy Sep 11th, 2006, 12:39pm Look at this thing.
It's an odd one, but a nice find. You can get it from www.waxbing.com.
Donnerboy Sep 12th, 2006, 12:47pm This "jar" is a vase by Michael Anderson.
Personally, though I cannot afford it, it is one of my favorites. Notice how it becomes 3-D. The painted and slightly raised armes on the jar rise up into the lid which sports a full mantle as a handle.
Donnerboy Sep 12th, 2006, 12:50pm This is a great frame.
It is from Disney and is a part of their 20,000 Leagues shop. It of course looks like a big piece of machinery, with a black and menacing squid on deck.
Donnerboy Sep 12th, 2006, 03:10pm Furniture? Maybe not, but at least some type of home decor for the musician who's ready to rock the Seven Sea!
This is a great one of a kind harp I found an image of online. It has a number of creatures from the deadly depths in its spine, but our most notable is the octo at the bottom.
Donnerboy Sep 13th, 2006, 09:44am Here is another table by master ceph artist Chris Barela.
Smaller than the previous one, but I really like it. The octo is lifted and it implies a lot more movement.
Donnerboy Sep 14th, 2006, 09:43am I love this piece, though there has never been any detail how to get one. It was simply a pic outside of someone's home.
I love this octo that appreantly has decided to sun himself on a rock, ...in a garden, ...miles away from any natural water source.
Donnerboy Sep 15th, 2006, 11:50am Not a for sale piece, I found this pic of an octo table from a gallery in Florida.
I am curious about it even though it is not my favorite ceph table that I have seen. This one supposedly had a rubbery texture to it.
Donnerboy Sep 19th, 2006, 12:03pm This is a great item that really struck me the first time I saw it.
The sculpture art is not that impressive, but its simplicity leaves more room for the imagination to fill in the gap and less to bother someone who may be eating off of it.
Donnerboy Sep 20th, 2006, 12:52pm This is an odd set probably never to be seen again.
It was way, way, WAY out of my price range, but was a silver tea set with seal life and ceph along it in decoration.
Look at the different views of the handle and the squid's mantle.
Donnerboy Sep 22nd, 2006, 03:46pm This is the oddest piece I have seen, or at least as a whole...
It is a cap for a bottle. Apparently a series of these Japanese Monster Movie caps were released including Kong as he faced off with Godzilla once.
I have considered getting it just to be able to keep it on my water bottle.
erich orser Sep 22nd, 2006, 05:53pm I've got that one (somewhere)! I was always a bit disturbed by the giant octopus attack in King Kong versus Godzilla as the octopus is a real one - out of the water - in closeups.
Donnerboy Sep 25th, 2006, 11:11am I've got that one (somewhere)! I was always a bit disturbed by the giant octopus attack in King Kong versus Godzilla as the octopus is a real one - out of the water - in closeups.
Erich,
Do you know where you got it? I want one, but this guy wants about $5.00 for it (fair), and $5.00 for shipping a bottle cap that weighs about 4 oz's. (insane).
Donnerboy Sep 25th, 2006, 11:15am I am not sure what this is exactly, but it chaps my ...buttocks.
First of all, the site that had it is impossible to find. It was all of $8.00 and I wish I had gotten it when I had the chance. Secondly, it was at a site that was for bridal pieces. Seriously. Third, just what is it? It seems to be a tin, in the shape of a heart, with an octo in relief.
It just seems to fit together like chicken and waffles.
It makes my brain hurt.
Donnerboy Sep 26th, 2006, 10:46am I know, I know...
Some of these might not be furniture so to speak; but the term is wide open. I use it in terms of yes, the physical nature of what we can sit and eat on, but also the physical things we might have and display about the house.
This is one of couple of octo-thimbles I have seen. It is the better of the two by far.
erich orser Sep 26th, 2006, 05:14pm I am not sure what this is exactly, but it chaps my ...buttocks.

I actually found that at least at Roscoe's, chicken and wafles go together just fine. I recognize the design on the bridal tin - it's one of the older Eastern Med. designs (not sure if it's yet another Minoan variant, I'll have to look that up), but don't think the heart-shaped box it graces is a copy of any particular vintage.
As for the kaiju octopus bottle-top, I got mine for about $4.50 from a shop on Bagley in Culver City. I'll tell you the name of the place as soon as my friend calls me back with it. It's the only place with sci-fi/comic models in the general vicinity of the Culver Hotel (where the little people all went berzerk during the filming of The Wizard of Oz).
Akyu Sep 26th, 2006, 05:43pm I actually found that at least at Roscoe's, chicken and wafles go together just fine.
OMG! Someone else who've tried Roscoes and found that yes, chicken and waffles DO go together. Whenever I try and drag any friend there, I get a look of utter disgust.
monty Sep 26th, 2006, 06:50pm OMG! Someone else who've tried Roscoes and found that yes, chicken and waffles DO go together. Whenever I try and drag any friend there, I get a look of utter disgust.
Sheesh. Some friends. There's a 'Scoes a mile or so downhill from my house... but before that one was around, I made a point of trying out the one in Hollywood(?) after hearing that the one in "Tapeheads" was real.
Is there one up near you in Berkeley now?
Donnerboy Sep 28th, 2006, 10:59am Here is a piece of human furniture.
This is a unique cane I saw online. I wish it had better tentacle work, but with the sparkle and the overall look, it's pretty cool.
erich orser Sep 28th, 2006, 11:22am Yay for those who spoke-up for Roscoes, boo for all of us who wanted to learn the location of that Culver City shop. It was called Time Traveller. Now it's a dental office. No more kaiju models. They went out of business. This realy sucks, because no more Dr. Who or other British Sci-fi stuff (they specialized in this), no more Hammer horror, it's all gone. Darn. This stinks. A friend who lived up the street just called me bacck. Incidentally, this is the same friend who paid for the r & d on the massive Cthulhu costume. God bless his misguided, twisted heart. Hooray for giant walking Cthulhu monsters! Here's a man who spends his money well!
monty Sep 28th, 2006, 03:56pm Erich's got a unique cane much like that, only it's a cuttle rather than an octopus, and it's carved rather than a metal handle. Got any pictures, Erich? (I seem to remember Rebecca telling a story that someone asked her "you know your husband is walking around with a naughty looking cane?" and her getting to reply "I carved it for him."-- although I suppose it's unavoidable, people seem a little over the top about attributing freudian meanings to cephs...)
Donnerboy Sep 28th, 2006, 03:57pm Yes Erich, we need pics!
erich orser Sep 29th, 2006, 02:19am I'll send them! As to Freud, sometimes a squid really IS just a squid.
We'll take some pictures of my squid-cane and post them. It's rather stylized, carved from antique mahogany.
Donnerboy Sep 29th, 2006, 11:07am Oh yeah?!
Well how about this one?
Donnerboy Oct 2nd, 2006, 12:05pm This is from www.castinstyle.com.
It is a trivet, or cast iron hot plate. This one had our little octo right there curling up his tentacles.
Donnerboy Oct 3rd, 2006, 02:11pm Check this out...
This was a custom tile, mural design in a home I found online. I am not crazy about the eyes (they always do them to cartoonie), but as a whole I liked the project.
Donnerboy Oct 13th, 2006, 10:11am Here's a little something.
I found this neat little deacl for the windshield online.
Donnerboy Oct 25th, 2006, 12:48pm How about this one?
It's a mug for those coffee lovers out there; however, it has a tentacle for the arm.
Donnerboy Jan 3rd, 2007, 03:39pm I have no idea where this is from, but it was posted by a Japanese enthusiast and I thought all would want to see.
Maybe he was at an aquarium?
Does anybody know where this is?
Donnerboy Feb 7th, 2007, 04:19pm OK,
You have been patient, ...and I like to reward that. Especially as I have had people contact me saying "where's the new octo stuff?"
Well I found this first one at www.curzon.co.za and it is a set of finials for the end of your curtain rods.
...and you're welcome.
Donnerboy Feb 7th, 2007, 04:20pm It was bound to happen.
Donnerboy Feb 7th, 2007, 04:22pm Normally,
As many of you have seen my tastes before, you know that I do not go in for the cutesy octos. However, something for the nursery generally piques me a little as I can have it to saturate the children.
mmmccrthy3000 Feb 7th, 2007, 07:36pm Regarding the octopus on the clock posted by a tourist, that looks a lot like one of a series of statues at Baywalk in St. Pete, Florida (going from the parking garage to the stores). I vaguely remember being annoyed because he only had 7 arms. There were a bunch of different marine animals depicted on different posts.
~Mary
James Danger Feb 8th, 2007, 03:55am were can I get the furniture? is it custom made or mass produced?
Donnerboy Feb 8th, 2007, 02:04pm were can I get the furniture? is it custom made or mass produced?
Which furniture do you speak of as the entire thread is mostly furniture? If you mean the curtain rod finials go to www.curzon.co.za.
Donnerboy Feb 9th, 2007, 12:12pm Here's a little something from around the world.
In Japan they have all of these wonderful concrete animals, many look like they are more than simply for show and aesthetics, but are like wavy jungle-gyms. This one is in Ebisu/Tokyo.
This one is an octo of fairly large proportions. I wish I had this monstrosity to play on as a child. We would have built cardboard box submarines and been attacked by it daily.
Donnerboy Feb 9th, 2007, 12:14pm Here is a wonder piece that I found at www.belabacsi.com.
It almost looks like a headboard.
Donnerboy Feb 9th, 2007, 12:17pm Here's another wall piece of art.
This can be found at www.betulaydiner.com. She does some sealife and just like dthe roll of her tentacles on this one.
Donnerboy Feb 12th, 2007, 05:39pm OK,
To start I have posted this bottle holder and decanter before, but I am adding the bottle opener. Granted it's not an ceph cork screw, but close enough.
Donnerboy Feb 12th, 2007, 05:41pm And since I posted those, let's review these.
One is of course a funkadelic glass set, and the others are a fun set of Mexican glass swizel sticks my sister gave me.
Donnerboy Feb 22nd, 2007, 06:19pm No so oddly enough, this was on a Japanese website...
It was part of the '"They Might Be Giants" Project', hence the "TMBG" on the bag. Notice that two men are being held, and partially consumed, obviously the two men from the group.
I like how in the second photo, they actually put a little toy squid coming out.
Tintenfisch Feb 22nd, 2007, 06:45pm <GASP> Must! Have! I didn't realize TMBG's cephalophilia went beyond the cover of Apollo 18!
Donnerboy Mar 9th, 2007, 11:55am OK, here is an odd one.
In my constant search for all things cephallophilic, I have found this oddity. This grotesque frisbe is soft to the touch to give extra tactile sensations.
Donnerboy Mar 9th, 2007, 12:03pm Here is an odd little teapot on eBay by a Miss Fukazawa.
Donnerboy Mar 9th, 2007, 12:06pm These pieces are a from a group called Liquid Sands Design.
These are actually pretty nice looking little octos, too.
Donnerboy Mar 9th, 2007, 12:09pm Erich, here is another cane for you.
This is made by Tony Hostetler, whose designs and sculptures I have posted before.
Taddea Tentakel Mar 17th, 2007, 06:08am Ammonite lamps by Mario Messina.

tonmo Mar 17th, 2007, 09:07am Oh my gosh!
sorseress Mar 17th, 2007, 10:01am Wow!
chejjjj Mar 17th, 2007, 12:24pm Those are really cool!
dwhatley Mar 18th, 2007, 06:13pm Where do I find the frisby for sale? !!!
Taddea Tentakel Mar 19th, 2007, 06:00am Sorry for my poor English, but what does "frisby" mean in this context?
WhiteKiboko Mar 19th, 2007, 06:21am frisby=frisbee, a flying disc
Taddea Tentakel Mar 19th, 2007, 06:31am Thanks. Does it refer to the lamps above???
If so, the contact information for the designer can be found on this page: http://www.vermontfurnituremakers.com/member_contact.php?ID=29
erich orser Mar 19th, 2007, 07:22am It refers to the pink glow-in-the-dark foam disc. I actually had a friend get me one of those some years back. It flew great.
Donnerboy Jun 6th, 2007, 04:28pm Ok, so here's a new one at last.
This cute little guy comes in blue, black, or red and will hold all your shower and bath stuff right where you need it, but off of a surface where it can be knocked off or get sticky.
cuttlegirl Jun 6th, 2007, 04:36pm Too cute!
Donnerboy Jan 4th, 2008, 01:59pm It's been a while...
Sorry, but I have missed you all as I slave here in the mines at work. Once in a while, I see the sun.
Anyhoo...
Here is something too numerous to list as this beautiful person has listed many old comic books and pulp fiction pieces that all have one thing in common and it's not football, chicken, twinkies, or '57 Mustangs.
Click this link (http://francesca.net/pulp.html), and hold onto your sanity Alice, cuase we are going through ye ole looking glass.
Donnerboy Jan 4th, 2008, 02:02pm Tired of that boring tub drain?
Try these beauties out!
Donnerboy Jan 4th, 2008, 02:05pm Looking to make that ceph lover just the right cake?
Here's a prize that I love. It's a little pricey at $30, but dang what a cool pan.
And you can use this whisk to whip it up...
Donnerboy Jan 4th, 2008, 02:08pm This one, well... it just kind of freaks me out a bit.
Only in Japan.
Boy do they love squid! From the lanyard attached, I think this is quite small as it is suppossed to be a ceph phone bauble. I guess it's a baby wrapped up in a squid design papoose.
cuttlegirl Jan 4th, 2008, 05:26pm Here's a lamp finial from this website.
http://www.artifaqt.com/prdct/fini_octps.html
Donnerboy Jan 4th, 2008, 05:44pm Actually, I have those on the first page of this thread.
I love that site. You can also go to pg. 6 of my Ceph Jewelry (http://www.tonmo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3977&page=6) thread.
There I listed a bronze medallion as well. It's actually what prompted me to start this thread about Ceph Furniture as there was so much great stuff out there. And after all, lamp finials are furniture.
Donnerboy Jan 4th, 2008, 05:55pm And something for the children's room.
How's this for a stuffed chair? It's Ollie the Octopus and can be found here (http://www.babystyle.com/common/dProductDetail.asp?rdr2=1&siteid=&pmid=20247&dept=37&sc=140).
Donnerboy Jan 4th, 2008, 05:59pm Here's a pic (http://travel.webshots.com/photo/1125062093045374739ZmATsm) someone got of their significant other along the Malecon in Puerto Vallarta.
It's one heck of an octopus chair.
Donnerboy Jan 4th, 2008, 06:04pm OK, one more chair.
This is a freaky little number, but I gotta tell you, it really makes me happy. It's some real traditional style furniture that isn't inspired by octopus by using rolling shapes or something suggestive of tentacles. No, it has an octopus back.
Click here (http://www.javafurnicraft.com/products/Teak_Jepara_Art_Style-Chair-Octopus_Chair.php#?) to go to the website.
cuttlegirl Jan 4th, 2008, 06:56pm Actually, I have those on the first page of this thread.
 I thought it looked familiar...
dwhatley Jan 5th, 2008, 12:58am The website has this great paper towel holder with cuttles on the base and the center pole can use any of their finials, including that great octo. I just don't have $300 for a paper towel holder this week
Are you sure that chair back is not an octopus tree plant replica? I know the website says octopus chair but the "mantle" looks more like a pot (the plant holding kind).
monty Jan 8th, 2008, 01:15am Hallucigenia just sent me this (http://www.jonathanlevinegallery.com/?method=Artist.ArtistDetail&ArtistID=EED2F4E9-115B-5562-AA8B85B721777481&GalleryID=82C33C59-3048-28EB-92DB386C8C733405), which I don't remember seeing here before...
among other things, it has this:

Donnerboy Jan 8th, 2008, 04:25pm  I thought it looked familiar...
Don't get me wrong, I'd rather you put it up than not...
That way people will continue to see all the cool things with our totem on it out there. It kind of kicks up the silt a little.
Donnerboy Jan 8th, 2008, 04:27pm Monty,
That is the UGLIEST thing I have ever seen (and I really want one).
Donnerboy Jan 8th, 2008, 04:28pm The website has this great paper towel holder with cuttles on the base and the center pole can use any of their finials, including that great octo. I just don't have $300 for a paper towel holder this week
Are you sure that chair back is not an octopus tree plant replica? I know the website says octopus chair but the "mantle" looks more like a pot (the plant holding kind).
I can't see it well enough. That would upset me though. I'll see if they will send me a better picture that is more closely detailed. Good eye, though.
Donnerboy Jan 8th, 2008, 04:31pm OK, careful when you look at this... It may be have an 'R' rating.
This is a mooring cleat that I find phenomenal. It is made of either silver or stainless steel to look like a squid; HOWEVER, it is actually a series of nudes.
Don't get me wrong, I think the human body is beautiful, I just would have preferred the straight ceph.
Donnerboy Jan 8th, 2008, 04:35pm OK, I have to develop some form of system to let me know whether or not I have posted this item yet. It is getting a little large and thereby a bit more cumbersome.
Anyhoo... Here is a vase that I found that I submit for thine approval.
Donnerboy Jan 8th, 2008, 04:44pm How's this one?
It's from Dermond Peterson Deep Sea collection. The problem is that it is an expensive line. I found a store that carried them and they sold for $185 each.
Each! They don't even get up and make you stuffed French toast in the morning.
I need to move to Japan for a few years. Everything there has cephs on it, so it's not nearly as expensive.
