View Full Version : Octo´s in panama(pacific or atlantic) i need cuttle Mar 8th, 2006, 10:42pm Im currently in panama city panama and i am wondering if there are any octo´s or cuttlefish on either side of the istmus. Nancy Mar 11th, 2006, 12:13am I think so, but it will take some doing to find out what species they are. Nancy main_board Mar 11th, 2006, 06:34pm Go to www.cephbase.org, and click on "Biogeography" on the left. You can search a number of different ways. I just tried the "Species in the Exclusive Economic Zone of:" and then selected Panama. It'll give you a list of all cephs. Gotta sort through them, but at least its some place to start. Cheers! i need cuttle Mar 11th, 2006, 09:52pm well i went diving twice once in taboga which is about 5 miles off of panama city and did not see any octos. i will be diving on the carabian side tomorrow and maby i will see one there. but so far the only pulpo i have seen was the one on my dinner plate last night.
