Anyone else see this news story from our news page?

Squids may help determine global warming impact: scientist (http://www.abc.net.au/rural/news/content/2006/s1564103.htm)

Seems to be an extension of things like the jumbo squid strandings in CA a year or so ago, etc.

Interesting article, but if the jumbo squid start moving around, then the sperm whales that dine on them might not know wher to find them, and the local prey population might explode, while the squids move to another place, the prey population might decrease becuase of the increased number of predators. And what about the fishermen that catchs the squid and the overall density and habitat of the entire population. These changes are very worrying.
