looks like a single polyp... more commonly seen in large groups

I'm going with an anemone as well. Single polyp.

It just showed up in my tank on some live rock. Just trying to figure out what species it is. I took the picture with my digital.:rainbow:

Looks like the common button polyp. Sometimes little ones pop up from the rock after they split off of the main colony. Good coral.

its a form of palythoa... ive got some in my reef tank kind of like a zooanthid
