Somewhat off-topic when it comes to cephalpod science, but Hell, I'm pretty fascinated by this. And besides, as toothed whales, they're primary devourers of cephs within their Arctic ecosystem, so why shouldn't this be up here? Plus, I've had to bite into too hot/too cold food items when awaiting dental work. I'm amazed they don't all shriek in enourmous pain. Ouch.

Great article! I was actually listening to a similar article on NPR last night on my way home from work. Made me curious to know if I can expose a tooth the environment like that:bugout: .
