Well....I knew it was only a matter of time. 5 weeks after she had gone into hiding, I realized she had passed away. Unfortunately as far as I know all the babies are gone also. When I lifted her rock, you could see the strings of empty eggs that she had been protecting. Amazing creature. One of the first that summened me to the tank by disconnecting the cleaner magnets. I will miss her, but have alot of great pics to remember her by.

ahhh...bummer. Wow, that is one octo I am going to miss seeing pics of, but I am glad you had the opportunity to interact so much with her, and share some of it with us.

Very sorry to hear about Gimpy, although we all were expecting this news.:sad:
Giimpy was a special octopus who will be missed.
