On July 28, 2000, TONMO.com briefly reported (http://www.tonmo.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=157&highlight=russia) on a story regarding Russia's seizing of a Japan squid-fishing vessel that had "strayed off course".

Now, nearly three years later, Russian authorities have detained the 209-ton boat.
