They are so smart they use tools to hunt. <some that is.> you should be looking for the best not the minimum. if you get a bimac for a 30 gallon you will need better and more expensive equipment. it all averages out. Just think if that octopus were you and you will feel a lot worse about minimum. joel_ang Jun 23rd, 2005, 09:57pm We used to reccomend 30 gal as a minimum for bimacs, but some people found that these tanks were pretty cramped for a full grown one. Not to mention there are some bimacs which grow larger that te stated size. So we decided that 55gal should be the new minimum.
