How many people run a protein skimmer? I know it is beneficial, but I run an eclipse type hood and cannot figure out where I would be able to put it.

Almost all people reporting in on this website use a protein skimmer when they keep an octopus. We recommend it (see the articles on octo care by clicking on the Ceph Care button above.)

That's a problem with the Eclipse. We've had discussions on this earlier on the Ceph Care forum. You might want to search on Eclipse.
