Hey,

Ive had my octo for about a week now, he seems to be doing very well and is very day active. Eating frozen krill and live ghost shrimp ( aswell as turbo snails  ). Anyways, just thought Id share a few vids for thbose who dont have octos adn maby the experts can identify it for me? it looks like a bimac but its 2 eye spots only show up when hes excited, aka, geting hand fed.

they range in length from 10-40secs each and quality isnt the best but wat-can-ya-do?

I enjoyed seeing your octo -nice video, thanks for posting!

Can't see enough to say whether it's a bimac -where did you get it?
And does it have a name?

For some reason, only the first video came up for me - maybe the server was slow.

ya, the server was probably just slow, plus one of them is almost a minute long so it probably would take a while to download.

He is about 1" head and 5" including legs right now, although I could almost swear hes a little bigger in just the week Ive had him. Hes also extremely day active and actually goes into his hole around 8:30 PM and stays there until morning while spending almost the entire day scouring around the tank.

I got it from a friend, he thinks it was a hitchhiker on his liverock, or maby got lost in the liverock at the lfs?? He got a variety of liverock so its not just fiji or marshal, so its almost impossible for me to identify what region to look into.

I've only seen 1 octo in my life so I have no idea how they are 'suppose' to act, but thats how mine always moves. he spends most of the day scurying across the glass and around the rocks, periodically sifting through the sand with his arms.

All but the first video were taken down because Putfile claims they are pornographic or copywrited  ..... anyways, does anyone know of another good place to host videos?

and if anyone can ID from those pics, Id be grateful, I thought it was a biomac, but in the last week i could sware its doubled in size!

You might want to get in touch with Tonmo (Tony) - he can put videos on Tonmo.
