On MSNBC, 'Aging octopus finally a mom'. Looks like she had tens of thousands of eggs, some are beginning to hatch now. Who do I call to place my order?

How many little octos do you think will survive?

probably none... being a small egg species it will be failry intensive to provide the right conditions and food sources for them. It can be done but it's not easy... good luck to them :)

I've been talking to the person in charge of them and sharing info so we might be able to get a few to survive or at least learn as much as possible.

So is there a chance you all are going to get some of Aurora's babies?
Those are very famous little octopuses!

Probably not, the chances of any surviving are slim. We had GPO babies this past winter but zero of them made it past 3 weeks, although I am willing to try again. I'm just trying to refine techniques.
