I simply can't believe this is what it says 'on the box'. Any ideas anyone?

By the way, anyone care to guess what a 'Cephalod" is?

Looks like a piece of nougat to me...where is the verification??? How the heck does that qualify as a "section of a ceph' ??????

I think that is an internal mold of the living chamber of Baculites grandis. Mind you, not a good specimen by any stretch of the imagination, which is what you need to use to visualize the fossil :lol:

I wonder if people somewhere are being taught that ammonites are Cephalod tentacles? 8-)

Phil,

That is obviously a hunk of foie gras covered with aspic. It would go nicely with a baguette and a bottle of Chateauneuf.
