Care2.com is one of those daily click and give donation sites.
It has various environmental sections to choose from. One is oceans. If you give enough by clicking each day, the second level of donation is giant squid.

I have also recently bought some rubber squeeky octopuses and some green octopus magnets. They are everywhere folks!
