my cuttlefish seems to be bored all of the time and it doesnt really trust me. is there any way i could play with him or teach it tricks

Try the whip it worked for me.... LOL just kidding! I have no clue! I kept bothering my octo with food until he trusted me... That sorta worked! :P

Food is the answer, feed your cuttle many small items like shrimp many times a day, it will soon associate you with food and will be more trusting, Within a week you two should have no problems with each other.
