Some time back someone wrote in about using packets of calibration fluid and how it might take several packets to get the fluid level high enough in a small container so that the reading could be taken.

I've found a way to do this conveniently with one packet for each pH value used - just cut off the top of the packet and carefully scrunch in down in a small juice glass - one glass for each of the two packets (I'm using pHs of 7.0 and 10.0). Also have a glass of distilled water for dipping the probe in and cleaning it before transferring to the other packet. Convenient, works very well.

That has always bugged me too, but at least AquaMedic have figured it out and now they sell bottles of pH fluids with at least a depth suitable for dipping the probe in... saves me a lot of hassle :)
