Does anyone out there have any idea of how much histology and/or gross anatomy work is being done on cephalopods at the moment? What with the current scientific winds blowing toward molecular this and that, I was just curious...
Thankee for all your help!

John, there's a big focus on gross anatomy down this neck of the woods, more so than genetic (but that's because I'm anatomy oriented). Will post more shortly.

Also John, Check out papers by Natalie Moltchaniwskyj (I think) that's how her name is spelt.) She does a lot of work on muscle fibres of squid, ontogenetic change etc
