Hi all,
For those of you in the US who live in or near a city with a local Marine Aquarium Society chapter, you might check their website as a source for equipment and more.
The Dallas chapter has a buy/sell part of its message board, and also a very active group buy forum. You can find a number of mature tanks for sale with contents, also group buys where you can purchase such things as southdown sand, refractometers and livestock.
I've never seen a person with an octo participate but we all need liverock, sand, pumps and equpment and other goodies.
It's worth looking into. I'm going to join.
