I have read that it is possible to somewhat identify cuttles buy showing themself in a mirror and they will typically display aggresive behavior, however some females will also. Will octos also follow these same behaviors, because I used a mirror on Ollie, and she/she could seem to have cared less.

See how smart your little octo is? :) I've heard of mirrors working with cuttlefish and also squid, I believe, but not with octos. But maybe someone else knows more.

Yea, all she did was put on her make-up and do her hair when i ploped the mirror down. :)

I always found it funny to imagine what my Ollie would look like with a wig (blond, of course)! :) :jester:
