I found circles on my cuttlefish? what could this mean?

Just a color change?

Were the circles floating about in the water? Thats old sucker covers

um the circles were on the cuttlefish's back

What colour were they, are there any white rings floating abut in the water? if they're black circles on it's back its probably just eyespots which are commonly found in young / small cuttles as a defence.

Sometimes cuttles display circles on their mantles to look like teh eye sof a huge predator, mine used to display this when i was doing tank cleaning
