what do you do when your cuttlefish does not eat?

How long have you had him, maybe he is just adjusting to his new enviroment if you just got him.

Also, are you offering some live food?

Normally they inly stop eating whem they are full!

im feeding it live shrimp and live fish. ive only had it for a few days. the second day it started eating but the third day it stopped.

Give the cuttle a break, don't feed him for about a day and he should be hungry by then, sometimes my cuttles will ignore food thats just in front of their faces. How large are the fish and shrimp?

the fish are about 2 cm and the shrimp are about 2 cm as well. If it doesnt eat could that also mean it's dieing?

it's not really good at aiming though because it has to try at least three times to get the fish or shrimp. for shrimp it usually takes around 5 times.

that will get better as time goes on :)

Where is he sat in the tank?

If he is at the surface then he is hungry and hunting, if he is sat on the botton and buried then he is nice and content!
