checked with the importer here yesterday...she said " A WHAT?"... :shock: :cry:

I've seen these while diving here in south west Australia. Usually on night dives, though I saw one on a day7 dive last week.

I even managed to get some photos of one very small one here. His mantle was about 1".

i believe the pyjama squid as they are called are found in between australia and new zealand (possibly elsewhere!) at night. They are definitely extremely cool! Mark Norman won i phot comp with one i think!!
