Can an octo live with an anonome???

Usually no. The anemone will sting and stress your octo.

Since octos spend lots of time on the ground, while their tentacles independantly search for a meal, they could get stung.

Great,, thanks for the info.. I have not got my octo yet,, it is my mothers day gift. I guess I need to take out the anonome and get him into one of the other tanks,,,,Thanks guys!!!

Octos need a tank to themselves with maybe an echinoderm such as a starfish or pencil urchin.
