'cause a bimac from octopets would be perfect for you! bimacs are going to like to roam a bit, and a 30 is just a little too small for them... greg Ceph Roy May 2nd, 2004, 11:02am Yeah a 30 gallon probably be OK, but if you really want to see a happy octopus 50 gallon is the way to go! But then again, I haven't had one yet, so what would I know. lol majestic sea life May 2nd, 2004, 05:34pm how big do they get? Burstsovenergy24 May 2nd, 2004, 10:01pm It depends. Look at Ollie: Ceph Roy May 2nd, 2004, 10:14pm Yeah but it also depends on the amount of food you feed them. Burstsovenergy24 May 2nd, 2004, 11:10pm But why havea small octo when ya can have a big one? :) majestic sea life May 3rd, 2004, 12:53am its ollie a bimac and is the a full size or well he get bigger i never new u can play with them lol m8298 May 3rd, 2004, 09:48pm Speaking of a 30 gallon, I just got a used acrylic tank and I'm not sure what the capacity is. The tank measures 36"L x 15"W x 16"H. Is this too small for a Bimac? It would be nic to use an acrylic tank beacuse I could drill for bulk heads on the back wall, and it would be easier to make it escape proof. Burstsovenergy24 May 3rd, 2004, 09:57pm 37 gallons. :) (http://www.garf.org/tank/BuildTank.asp) m8298 May 3rd, 2004, 10:02pm WOW... That was odd, I was just at that site and did the calculation. Then I came back to look for a response... WIERD... That's still a bit small then, huh???? |
