What did you want to know about them?

Here is a paper I found about them : Adelieledone, a new genus of octopodid from the Southern Ocean.

I'd like to know what we know about its physiology, for one. There's a huge amount of research on cryophysiology, but I want to see what's going on in this octopus's body.

I don't see anything citing the original paper that does physiological work, upon searching. There is one paper that talks about eledonine venoms (Venom on ice: First insights into Antarctic octopus venoms, Undheim et al 2010) and one on reproductive biology (Female reproductive biology of two sympatric incirrate octopod species, Barratt et al 2008), but that's all I see -- most of the stuff is done for cladistic purposes, not for physiological. This is just what I get on literature searches for the genus name, fwiw.

Boo. Well, perhaps I can carve out some time when I'm a PI to do some research on this thing.
