My husband and I are avid SCUBA divers. Since we got into octos, we have been looking on all of our dives. This past Sat. we were diving on a local wreck. I saw a shell that I really liked and went to pick it up. As I picked it up, I saw an octo going into his den. I signaled my husband and we spent about 10 minutes just playing with him. We coaxed him out and just marveled in the fact that it was our first octopus sighting in open water. IT was so great. When we got back onthe boat, everyone was talkig about the Goliath Grouper and the turtle, but for my husband and I, it was all about the octo. It was amazing and wanted to share.
