what kind of lights should be used with a bimac i hae a dual light fixure for a 36 inch tank would this be ok dont know the wattage but will i will get that soon

IMO -I would use a very low watt florence light strip. Thats what I have on mine, and only 1 at that :)

Lighting is the only cheap part of owning a ceph; most don't need any (I don't think bimacs need light) and don't want it either.

Bimacs are more used to light than many other octos, given where they live and hunt.

A lot of us use one fluorescent bulb of about 30 W.
